Growing Together
Discover greater community.
We are a community of unique individuals from diverse backgrounds. At the University of Saint Francis, we embrace our differences and support all students in their pursuit of faith, learning, leadership and service.
DIGNITY
The St. Benedict the Moor Justice Center hosts educational programming, events, and celebrations that focus on the Catholic principles of peace, justice, and the dignity of the human person.
EQUALITY
To ensure equal access to academic programs and campus activities, Saint Francis provides accommodations, equipment, and coordinated services for students with documented disabilities.
SOLIDARITY
Find mutual support and community by joining or leading a student group or organization. Become a Justice Center Advocate to keep dialogue going among your peers.

Living Lives of Virtue, Service, and Joy
Saint Francis encourages students to adore God and interact with others in a way that honors His Presence. The St. Benedict the Moor Justice Center lives out that aspect of our mission through educational programming, service opportunities, cultural celebrations and peer mentoring.

Making a Home for Commuters
If you’re a commuter or off-campus student, you’re in good company: more than half of Cougars travel daily between campus and home. We’ll help you feel at home while you’re here—and maximize your Saint Francis experience.

Celebrating All Faith Traditions
Students of all faith traditions are welcome at Saint Francis. Each month, we hold student-led worship services which are full of music, personal testimony and fellowship.
“Faith is such a core value for me. I grew up Catholic but when I moved from home to Saint Francis, I had to learn how to be a Catholic on my own. Why am I a Catholic? Saint Francis helped me with that. You have Mass every day if you want to attend it.”
Teigen Fortkamp ’27 Nursing
“I chose Saint Francis because it’s close to my home and family, but also because my mom is a graduate. She was a student athlete and so am I. From what she told me, I knew I’d be supported here—and that was a big pull.”
Zoe Eager ’27 Elementary Education
“I’m from Germany and wanted to study abroad and play soccer. I was contacted by the coach at Saint Francis and I really liked him. I had other offers, but chose Saint Francis because of the coach.”
Paul Scheifele ’27 Business Administration, Sports Management
“I transferred from a bigger school that I didn’t feel had much community. Coming to Saint Francis was amazing. I was met with so much support right away and everyone was awesome to me.”
