Cost and Aid
Explaining the Costs and Financial Aid Process
A university’s cost and aid process can seem a bit mysterious. You submit a FAFSA, and you get a financial aid offer. Behind the scenes, Saint Francis is working with the Office of Federal Student Aid, the Indiana Commission for Higher Education, and scholarship committees to offer you the most affordable options we can. Here, we do our best to provide clear and straightforward financial aid explanations so that you can make informed and confident decisions.
“I received great financial aid. My scholarships covered more than 2/3 of my tuition. This gave me the freedom to focus on my studies and activities, rather than having to get a part-time job. It also reduced the amount I had to take out in loans, which gave me a better professional start.”

“Without scholarships and aid, I would not be able to attend a prestigious university like Saint Francis. My family could not afford it. I have 9 siblings and my father works to provide for us all while my mother takes care of the home and family.”

“The 21st Century Scholars program paid for half my tuition at Saint Francis. I’m so grateful because it’s letting me get a high-quality nursing education. Saint Francis was my top choice for college and I wouldn’t be able to attend without the scholarship.”

“I paid for my education and didn’t know about FAFSA and other resources. Saint Francis helped me so much! They gave me a financial aid package that covered most of my tuition costs, and when I’d get to a point where I didn’t think I’d make it, the financial aid office produced a miracle.”
