USF academics prepare students for lives of professional excellence and personal value. How? Through relevant, up-to-date programs, expert faculty, real-world experience and connections, and our Franciscan values that demonstrate service, respect, justice, and other aspects of Catholic Social teaching.
We have 60+ academic programs including associate, bachelor’s, and master’s degrees. We also have special programs, including Honors and Experiential Programs with Integrated Cooperatives (EPIC).
USF utilizes three distinct colleges within the university to serve the needs of students and their academic and career goals. Our colleges are directed by deans who work with expert faculty to deliver quality instruction and guidance. This structure helps our students receive the finest individual attention.
A wealth of diverse studies and career paths reside in the College of Arts, Sciences and Business. From animation to accounting to biology to elementary education, USF students find the perfect path to career success and life fulfillment. Our faculty bring work-world experience straight to the classroom and help students land valuable internships.
USF is well known from producing great healthcare professionals, thanks to the tremendous faculty and opportunities in the College of Health Sciences. Our expert instruction is supplemented by connections with healthcare providers such as Parkview Health, Lutheran Health and Franciscan Health, paving the way for meaningful and valuable clinical experiences.
USF offers opportunities off the main campus, too, including Virtual Campus, USF Crown Point, and the St. Elizabeth School of Nursing in Lafayette, Indiana. Academic plans include degrees in nursing, business and healthcare administration, and more. This college often serves non-traditional students seeking further education while they work.
