Would you like to join one of the top Catholic universities in the Midwest? The University of Saint Francis is seeking our next Financial Aid Counselor. Saint Francis is a Catholic, Franciscan university in the liberal arts tradition. The Financial Aid Counselor will report to the Director of Student Financial Services and will have responsibility over the area of Financial Aid Counseling for all students and primary for awarding our endowments, ensuring the university’s Catholic identity, Franciscan charism, and commitment to the liberal arts remain at the center of our educational mission and public identity. The Financial Aid Counselor is responsible for assisting the Director of Student Financial Services in advancing the university’s efforts in implementing the new mission statement and strategic plan. The successful candidate is a detail-oriented and empathetic professional who effectively guides students and families through the financial aid process, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and institutional policies. They possess strong analytical skills, communicate complex financial information clearly, and are committed to supporting student access to education through accurate, ethical, and compassionate advisement. The new Financial Aid Counselor is expected to begin serving no later than 8/1/2025.
