Bio

Rachael graduated from Valparaiso University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and obtained licensure as a Registered Nurse in 2011. After gaining experience as a Registered Nurse in Oncology/Hematology, Telemetry, and Pediatric Home Health, and developing a strong desire to focus on education, she pursued and completed a Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University in 2020. After obtaining her master’s degree with a focus in Nursing Education, she gained experience serving as the Department Chair of a Health Sciences program and as an Assistant Clinical Professor and Clinical Coordinator for an undergraduate nursing program. She brings experience and empathy and is passionate about preparing future nurses.

Rachael enjoys spending time with her two children and husband, attending her son’s soccer games, running marathons and ultra marathons, and being at the beach.
