Bio

Kaitlin Brown is a Trauma and Acute Care Surgery certified Physician Assistant at a Level I Adult and Level II Pediatrics Trauma Center in Springfield, IL. She graduated from the University of Saint Francis in 2022 after completing her PA education and started working clinically in 2023. In addition to working full time, she is the Clinical Coordinator and an Assistant Professor for the Saint Francis Physician Assistant (PA) program. She is also the point of contact (POC) for clinical year students who are out on surgical rotations. Her position with the university allows her to work in both the didactic and clinical realms of education.

Her clinical job allows her to continue working as a physician assistant in a fast paced, teamwork centered and advancing environment while her educational job allows her to pursue her passion of educating future physician assistants. Before going to graduate school and working as a PA, Kaitlin doubled majored in Nuclear Medicine and Chemistry at the University of UW-La Crosse and worked as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for four years in Illinois and Wisconsin.
