Bio

As a physical therapist assistant for nearly 20 years, I’ve practiced in a variety of settings with over 15 years of experience in outpatient orthopedics. I became a clinical instructor early in my career and maintained a connection to my alma mater, the University of Saint Francis (bachelor’s degree in communication, ’03, and associate’s degree in physical therapist assistant, ’05.)

I served as a member of the Saint Francis PTA Program Advisory Council and participated in the last two CAPTE accreditation events. I’ve assisted students from colleges, universities and high schools with their interests in physical therapy practice as an SCCE for Parkview Therapy Services. Giving a voice to PTAs in Indiana, I am active at the district, state and national levels of the American Physical Therapy Association. I support my local K-12 system as a parent-volunteer. I enjoy coaching and/or supporting my children, and youth in my community, in their athletic teams and the FFA.
