Bio
In 2021 I earned an associate degree in Surgical Technology and a bachelor’s degree in Health and Science Services from the University of Saint Francis, along with a certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting.
I began my career as a student surgical technologist in 2020 at Community Memorial Hospital in Hicksville, Ohio. After a year I transitioned into the Lead Certified Surgical Technologist role at the Surgery Center of Fort Wayne and worked there until 2024. After three wonderful years, I took a leap of faith and joined my alma mater to help teach the students about a career I am very passionate about. I am working to obtain my Decontamination and Sterilization certification (CRCST), to also help guide and teach the Central Service students.
