Saint Francis ranks third in Indiana in CPA exam pass rates

FORT WAYNE, Ind.—The University of Saint Francis ranks third among Indiana colleges with a 64.7% Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Exam pass rate.

The Saint Francis pass rate ranks more than 12 percentage points higher than the state average for 2025 exam pass rates, as compiled by the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy. The state average is 52.2%.

“Our high pass rate is a credit to our faculty who prepare our students through relevant and thorough instruction and to our students who put in the time and study to acquire the knowledge to become quality accountants,” said Elizabeth Unger, assistant dean of the Saint Francis Business and Leadership Pathway.

“We are proud of our students for their diligence and commitment to their accounting studies,” Saint Francis Accounting Program Director Gregory Smith said. “The pass rate reflects their strong work.”
