Saint Francis receives reaffirmation of education accreditation

FORT WAYNE, Ind.—The University of Saint Francis Division of Teacher Education received reaffirmation of its full, national accreditation status with the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP). 

Programs recognized under the accreditation are undergraduate elementary education, undergraduate special education, graduate elementary education, graduate special education and graduate secondary education. 

“We are pleased to share the reaffirmation of our accreditation with CAEP, which recognizes the high quality of our programs at Saint Francis,” Division of Teacher Education Director Dr. Juanita Oberley said. “Our track record of successful alumni in the teaching profession is well known, and our faculty provides Saint Francis students with the knowledge, experience and preparation needed to make a lasting impact through teaching in Indiana and beyond.”
