USF announces strong post-graduate success rate for Class of 2022

FORT WAYNE, Ind.—The University of Saint Francis proudly announces 96% of the Class of 2022 are employed, enrolled in additional education or serving in the service/military a year after graduation.

The Career Outcomes study included 92% of the Class of 2022 graduates, with 617 of 668 graduates responding. Of those, 88% are employed and 8% pursuing additional education.

“Our continued high success rate reflects the commitment of our graduates and the quality instruction of our dedicated faculty,” USF Interim President Dr. Lance Richey said. “The graduates of the Class of 2022 demonstrated exceptional perseverance during their academic careers, so it is no surprise to see they are on their way to further success.”

Top employers of the Class of 2022 include Parkview Health, Franciscan Health, Lutheran Health Network, Fort Wayne Community Schools, IU Health, University of Saint Francis, Ascension Health, Community Healthcare System, Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend and Northwest Allen County Schools.

Of the 541 Class of 2022 graduates reporting a post-graduation outcome of employment, job titles include health diagnosing/treating practitioners, teachers (preschool, primary, secondary, special ed), health technologists, business operations specialists, counselors/social workers/social service specialists, occupational/physical therapist assistants, financial specialists, healthcare and other management occupations, operations specialties managers and top executives.

Of the Class of 2022 graduates reporting employment, 56% of them are working in northeast Indiana (Adams, Allen, DeKalb, Huntington, Kosciusko, LaGrange, Noble, Steuben, Wabash, Wells and Whitley counties).

Of the Class of 2022 graduates moving onto further education, 62% are in the health professions, 13% in business and 6% in biology.
