USF announces Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship winners

FORT WAYNE, Ind.—The University of Saint Francis congratulates two students who received four-year scholarships as part of the 2022 Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship Program. They are: Ehlay Htoo from North Side High School in Fort Wayne and Jalea Morrison from Columbia City High School in Columbia City, Indiana.

Both students are freshmen at USF this fall and will be part of the USF Class of 2026.

“These outstanding scholars demonstrate academic achievement, community involvement and strong leadership qualities. We welcome Ehlay and Jalea to USF and wish them all the best on their academic journey,” USF President Rev. Dr. Eric Albert Zimmer said.

The Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship provides for full tuition, required fees and a special allocation of up to $900 per year for required books and required equipment for four years of undergraduate study on a full-time basis leading to a baccalaureate degree at any eligible Indiana public or private nonprofit college or university.
