USF achieves record-high post-graduate success rate with Class of 2021

FORT WAYNE, Ind.—The University of Saint Francis proudly announces a record-high 99% of its 2021 graduates are employed, enrolled in additional education or serving in the service/military. USF recorded its three highest success rates over the last three years.

The Career Outcomes study included 86% of the Class of 2021 graduates, with 618 of 715 graduates responding. Of those, 84% are employed and 14% are enrolled in additional education.

“Our record-high success rate illustrates the commitment of our graduates and the quality of instruction they received from our dedicated faculty,” USF President Rev. Dr. Eric Albert Zimmer said. “The Class of 2021 ranks as the largest graduating class in USF history and the most immediately successful, and I could not be prouder of this winning combination.”

Top employers of the Class of 2021 include Parkview Health, Lutheran Health Network, Franciscan Health, IU Health, Fort Wayne Community Schools, Steppin’ Up Physical Therapy, the University of Saint Francis, Community Healthcare System, Ascension Health and the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend.

Of the 521 Class of 2021 graduates reporting a post-graduation outcome of employment, job titles include 184 health diagnosing/treating practitioners, 52 preschool, primary, secondary and special education teachers, 35 health technologists, 23 business operation specialists, 25 counselors, social workers and social service specialists and 23 occupational and physical therapist assistants. Other areas with multiple USF graduates include financial specialists, operation specialties managers, healthcare and other management occupations and sales representatives.

Of the graduates moving onto further education, 51% are in the health professions and 13% are in business.
