USF professor to speak on global economy in virtual lecture

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – University of Saint Francis Assistant Professor Dr. Clifford Buttram Jr. will speak on “The Future of the Global Economy” in a virtual lecture presented through the Allen County Public Library.

The lecture will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14 and those wishing to watch the lecture can register at acpl.libnet.info/event/4602233.

Buttram, who directs USF’s master’s programs in business administration and organizational leadership, will discuss how the global economy currently works and how it may soon fundamentally change. Among the questions to be addressed: What will the global economy look like in the future? Will the current economic superpowers of the United States and China retain their advantages? Are there countries in the waiting who can fill the void?
