USF Crown Point to add radiologic technology program

CROWN POINT, Ind. – The University of Saint Francis Crown Point will begin offering an Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology for the 2021-22 academic year as part of its coming expansion. Applications are now being accepted for Fall 2021.

The program gives students the knowledge, skills and connections to launch a successful career in medical imaging.

“I am excited to watch our program grow and expand to the Crown Point area with the new distance and evening clinical track options,” USF Radiologic Technology Program Director Heather Lortie said. “Since our program’s beginning, we have had a reputation for educating professional and competent radiographers. Because of this, graduates are often the first choice to potential employers. My hope is that our program will further develop this reputation in the northwest Indiana region and that students and employers alike will be mutually satisfied with the education and level of preparedness that comes with a USF radiologic technology degree.”

The USF Radiologic Technology Program has achieved 100% job placement over the past five years and has a 100% first-time pass rate on the certification exam for the past 26 years.

Students will learn from faculty of both the Crown Point and Fort Wayne locations.

Students may apply to USF at admissions.sf.edu. For more information, contact Heather Lortie at 260-399-7700, ext. 8567 or hlortie@sf.edu.
