USF presents 44th Annual High School Art Exhibition

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The University of Saint Francis School of Creative Arts will hold its 44th Annual High School Exhibition Feb. 27 through March 15.

Artwork will be on display in the John P. Weatherhead Gallery in the Mimi and Ian Rolland Art and Visual Communication Center, off Leesburg Road on the southeast side of USF campus, 2701 Spring St.

The gallery will open with a reception at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27, followed by an awards ceremony at 7 p.m. This exhibition features student work from high schools throughout Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Illinois. Works are first juried by the students’ high school teachers and a selection of 10 works by each school are then judged by a regional artist at the USF School of Creative Arts. Cash awards are given to the top artists as selected by the exhibition judge.

Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday.
