USF reports outstanding post-graduate success results

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The University of Saint Francis is pleased to announce 95.2% of its 2018 graduates are employed, serving in the service/military or enrolled in additional education.

The information was gleaned through a Career Outcomes study, completed December 31, 2018, which included 91.3% of the Class of 2018 graduates.

Top employers of the Class of 2018 are Parkview Health System, Lutheran Health Network, Franciscan Health, IU Health, University of Saint Francis, St. Vincent Hospital, Community Healthcare System, Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend Catholic Schools and Zimmer Biomet.

“The 2018 Career Outcomes study reflects the hard work of students and faculty, as well as USF’s strong relationships with local employers,” said USF President Sister M. Elise Kriss. “We are excited to see our alumni achieve success in their careers and educational goals.”

Of the Class of 2018, 46% of graduates are Health Diagnosing/Treating Practitioners, Technologists and Therapists, 11.7% are in management, financial, operations, sales and other management and executive positions, 8.2% are educators, counselors and social services specialists, and the remaining graduates include art/design, law enforcement, communication, physical science and other professionals.

Data was collected from 609 of the 666 graduates in the Class of 2018.
