USF teams with Manchester University for Master’s Degree in Athletic Training

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The University of Saint Francis Kinesiology and Nutrition Department has signed an affiliation agreement with Manchester University for the Master of Athletic Training program.

USF students who are interested in athletic training will have a direct route to pursue their master’s degree. USF students who meet Manchester University’s Master in Athletic Training program entry requirements are guaranteed a seat.

“This is a win-win situation for both schools and especially USF students,” said Dr. Matthew Hopf, USF Chair of the Department of Kinesiology and Nutrition. “Students in the USF Kinesiology and Nutrition program who are interested in becoming Athletic Trainers can plan for the future knowing they have a guaranteed seat in an Athletic Training program. “

USF offers a bachelor’s degree in Health & Exercise Science and Nutrition. The Department of Kinesiology and Nutrition also offers minors in Athletic Coaching, Exercise Science, and Nutrition.
