USF Announces New Pricing for Graduate Studies

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The University of Saint Francis has adjusted the tuition for many of its graduate degree programs to align with the market.

“Our graduate programs have very strong reputations throughout Northeast Indiana and have trained countless professionals over the years,” USF President Sister M. Elise Kriss said. “While their quality is unsurpassed, though, it is also important to make sure they are competitively priced in a crowded educational marketplace. Students today are very cost-conscious, and as a not-for-profit university we want to make sure that we are providing the most affordable education we can.”

Per-credit tuition for multiple programs, including the Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner, the Master of Fine Arts in Studio Arts, Master of Arts, Studio Arts, and Master of Science in Clinic Mental Health Counseling, Master of Science in Education in School Counseling, and Master of Science in Psychology, have been reduced up to 40 percent.

USF now offers differentiated pricing for its graduate programs, to make certain that each program’s tuition is aligned to the market. This will increase affordability of and access to our graduate programs for many students.

As part of this cost adjustment, USF is phasing out its Alumni Tuition Rate, which offered a discounted tuition rate in some graduate programs for those with four-year degrees from the university.

“The new pricing structure simplifies the tuition rate for all students, and removes artificial barriers to affordable education for students who may want to earn multiple degrees from USF or simply begin their career as a Cougar at the graduate level,” Lance Richey, Vice President for Academic Affairs, said. “We are excited about the growth this change will bring for our already successful programs.”
