FORT WAYNE, Ind. — The University of Saint Francis Department of Philosophy and Theology has announced the dates and speakers for its Fall Philosophy and Theology Lecture Series. All events except for the October 4 lecture will take place in the Brookside Ballroom on the third floor of Brookside Mansion on the USF main campus, 2701 Spring Street.
September 13, 12:30 p.m. – “How to Read Plato” by Dr. Lewis Pearson
October 4, 7 p.m. – “Visual Pilgrimage to the Heart of Assisi at the Heart of Our Campus: The Theology Behind the Art and Architecture of the New Oratory of Saint Francis” by Father David Meinzen (this event will take place in the new St. Francis Chapel on the USF main campus)
November 11, 3 p.m. – “Castle of Love: Education, Mary, and the Daughters of God” by Sister Felicity Dorsett, OSF
December 16, 3 p.m. – “When Does Eternity Begin?” by Dr. Earl Kumfer
