FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The University of Saint Francis will be offering scholarship funds to students of Harrison College, which recently announced it will be closing its doors. The scholarship is called “The Franciscan Harrison Promise” and will provide an annual amount of $10,000 for tuition to displaced Harrison College students.
“We were saddened to hear of the closing of Harrison College,” said USF President Sister Elise Kriss. “We understand how difficult this time must be for faculty, staff and students of Harrison, and this is one way we are able to assist. We hope the University of Saint Francis can help these students continue their higher education and this scholarship will make the transition as seamless as possible.”
Harrison students who would like to learn more about The Franciscan Harrison Promise can set an appointment with USF Coodinator of Transfer Admissions Allen Coultas at acoultas@sf.edu or 260-399-7700, ext. 6306.
