FORT WAYNE, Ind. — The University of Saint Francis will present its latest quarterly Family Business Initiative program, a panel discussion, on Thursday, July 12 at 8 a.m. in the Historic Woman’s Club on the third floor of the USF Business Center, 826 Ewing Street. The USF Business Center is the home of the USF Keith Busse School of Business and Entrepreneurial Leadership. The Family Business Initiative is an ongoing series of seminars designed to increase the value and effectiveness of a family business.
The discussion will focus on three areas of critical importance in managing a family business: Family Relations, Legal and Financial. Panelists include Jerry Nuerge, a leading expert in counseling family businesses; Dennis Becker, who will talk about estate planning and legal issues associated with family businesses; and Gregg Jehl and Rob Hayworth who will discuss financial planning and retaining wealth.
Those in attendance will be able ask questions regarding managing a family business. Business leader and USF adjunct faculty member Allen Glassburn will moderate the presentation.
