USF Hosts Exhibition of Student Art

FORT WAYNE, Ind. — The University of Saint Francis School of Creative Arts will host the opening of the 42 nd Annual Student Exhibition and Awards Ceremony on Saturday, April 7. From 5 to 7 p.m., student work will be displayed in the Rolland Art Center (off Leesburg Road) and the Music Technology Center within the USF Robert Goldstine Performing Arts Center (431 W Berry Street). All of the programs encompassed by the School of Creative Arts will be showcased with more than five hundred student pieces on display.
The SOCA Awards Ceremony will take place at 7:30 p.m. in the USF Robert Goldstine
Performing Arts Center Auditorium. The ceremony honors student artists, musicians, and
scholars for high achievement in their field. The University Jazz Ensemble will be performing selected works immediately preceding the event, starting at 7:00 p.m.
The art exhibition will run through May 2 in the Rolland Art Center. The Weatherhead and Goldfish Galleries are open Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; and Sunday 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
