FORT WAYNE, Ind. — Dr. Paula Johnson from Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine will be presenting a seminar on Friday, March 23 entitled: “A Day in the Life of the Purdue Emergency and Critical Care Doctor.” The lecture will take place at noon at the University of Saint Francis North Campus auditorium, 2702 Spring Street.
An emergency and critical care veterinarian, Dr. Johnson will speak about her career, present emergency veterinary cases to the audience, and talk about her role in training K-9 police dog handlers how to administer the opioid-reversal drug, Narcan, to protect police dogs from opioid overdose.
