FORT WAYNE, Ind. — The University of Saint Francis is presenting a series of free science seminars in the USF North Campus Auditorium, 2702 Spring Street.
These seminars are open to the public and will feature a particular topic discussion followed by Q&A. The format for these discussions ranges from PowerPoint presentations to demonstrations to lectures to interactive group activities.
Upcoming Seminars:
February 2, 2018 – 12pm – 12:50pm: Dr. Sarah GiaQuinta
February 9, 2018 – 12pm – 12:50pm: Kaitelyn Vachon
February 16, 2018 – 12pm – 12:50pm: Dr. Heather Adams
February 23, 2018 – 12pm – 12:50pm: Travis Taylor

March 23, 2018 – 12pm – 12:50pm: Dr. Paula A. Johnson
These seminars are intended to broaden the perspective for USF science students, helping them to see wider possibilities than their own specialization. For example, our students can experience what it is like to apply for med school even if they are not pre-med majors, or they can learn about any number of interesting topics related to science.
The faculty coordinating the spring 2018 seminars are Dr. Michael Bechill and Dr. Paul Schmidt and they can be reached at mbechill@sf.edu and pschmidt@sf.edu.
A full seminar listing with topics and a complete schedule of all spring seminars can be found at go.sf.edu/usfseminars2018.
