The University of Saint Francis warmly invites all 21st Century Scholars to choose USF as their college home. Scholars will fit right in with fellow Scholars—141 Scholars enrolled at USF during the spring 2022 semester—as well as other students, staff and faculty.
USF hosts an AmeriCorps ScholarCorps member known as the 21st Century Scholar Ambassador who is dedicated to supporting Scholars throughout their college career. The Ambassador can answer questions about your scholarship, and its requirements, using ScholarTrack and finding resources on campus.
The 21st Century Scholarship covers about a third of USF’s tuition. Additionally, USF offers generous financial aid packages. Undergraduate Scholars who are enrolled full-time automatically see the 21st Century Scholarship listed on their financial aid package, along with other scholarships, loans and grants awarded. The 21st Century Scholarship applies only to tuition costs and cannot be used toward room and board or book expenses. Other scholarships, however, can be used to help cover those costs.
If you are considering a transfer to USF, your scholarship will be disbursed without interruption as long as you completed all the requirements to maintain the scholarship at your previous school.
To renew their scholarships, Scholars must also maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP), file their FAFSA by April 15 each year and complete 30 credit hours during each award year. The Ambassador will remind Scholars of these requirements, and will offer support and resources to help Scholars meet these requirements.
Still have questions? Prospective, incoming and current USF Scholars are welcome to reach out to the Ambassador. More information can be found on the USF 21st Century Scholars website.
