
FORT WAYNE, Ind.—The University of Saint Francis has appointed Craig Teetsel, CPA, CGMA, as its executive vice president.
Saint Francis President Sister Maria Gemma Salyer, OSF, announced Teetsel’s promotion from his previous position as vice president for business and finance and chief financial officer. Teetsel has served the university for 15 years.
“With his continued oversight of the business office, risk management, the physical plant, and information technology, Craig effectively operated as CFO and COO all rolled into one position,” Sister Maria Gemma said. “He was promoted to executive vice president to acknowledge the breadth of responsibility that falls under his leadership. I look forward to his continued tremendous contributions to Saint Francis.”
Teetsel joined the University of Saint Francis in 2011, serving as director of financial reporting until 2013, when he became the university’s controller. He was promoted to vice president for finance in 2020 and vice president for business and finance and chief financial officer in 2024.
Founded in 1890 in the Catholic Franciscan tradition, the University of Saint Francis offers more than 60 undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs.
