The Campus Ministry Staff
Joshua Stagni
Josh is our Director of Campus Ministry. He comes most recently from the University of Notre Dame and has a few degrees from ND, including a Bachelor’s of Theology and a Master’s of Divinity. He is excited to be here at Saint Francis and looks forward to seeing students, faculty, and staff around campus. Father John Stecher
Father John Stecher is our University Chaplain. He is an ordained priest from Iowa. He holds a PhD. from Aquinas Institute of Theology and a Master of Science in Psychology from the University of Saint Francis. Father is delighted to be a part of Campus Ministry here at the University of Saint Francis. He has a rich history serving in campus ministry and enjoys the interactions with students, staff and faculty. Father’s office is in the Campus Ministry Center, but he is often walking around campus, or enjoying a "cup of joe" in the cafeteria. Sister Gayle Rusbasan OSF
Sister Gayle is our Campus Minister Assistant. She has a Bachelor's degree in Theology/Philosophy from St. Joseph's College in Rensselaer, Indiana, and a Master's degree in English/Linguistics from Indiana State University. She is a Franciscan Sister of the Sacred Heart. She enjoys hosting Campus Ministry gatherings and chatting with students. She has a listening ear and a gentle heart plus a wonderful sense of humor.
