1970s

Mary Ann Koontz (BSW ’77) has published three mystery/suspense novels, three children’s books (coauthored by her granddaughter) and a recent collection of original poems, all since retiring from social work. More details on her books are available at makoontz.com.
1990s

Jeremy McFarren (BA ’98) joined the Amp Lab team at Electric Works as a create studio teacher.
2000s

Aaron Elwer (BS ’02) coached Delphos (Ohio) St. John High School to the OHSAA Division VII basketball title—the first state championship for the school in 24 years—with a 29-0 record. He was named the Press Pros area boys Coach of the Year. His son, Cam, was runner-up for Ohio Mr. Basketball.
Nick Ankenbruck (BS ’05) became the head boys basketball coach at Wayne High School.

Kristin Miller (BA ’09) started a position as integrated marketing manager at Parts Town.
2010s

Jordan Krock (BS ’17) is a seventh-grade teacher at Willow Creek Middle School and the head girls cross country coach.

Heather Zengler (BS ’17) was named Assistant Property Manager of the Year of Indiana State Parks. Heather serves at Summit Lake State Park in New Castle, Indiana.

Nick Brickens (BS ’19) became football coach at Cascade High School in Clayton, Indiana.
2020s

Regan (Peppler) Jones (BS ’22) received the Fort Wayne Community Schools Elementary Teacher of the Year Award.

Elizabeth Laker (AS ’22) is the executive director of the DeKalb Central Foundation.

Joshua Kulka (MBA ’25) plays quarterback with the Albany Firebirds of Arena Football One.
Carter Christianson (BS ’26) is a restoration ecologist with Earthsource Inc.

Laili Mason (ADN ’26) is a nurse in the medical intensive care unit at Parkview Regional.
Terra Peer (BSN ’26) is a nurse in the medical intensive care unit at Parkview Regional.
Savanah Phillips (BSN ’26) is a medical-surgical nurse at Parkview Noble.
Natalie Rice (BSN ’26) is a nurse in the postpartum unit at Parkview Regional.
Mya Roberts (ADN ’26) is a nurse in the emergency department at Parkview Randallia.
Sidney Stevenson (BSN ’26) is a nurse in the emergency department at Parkview DeKalb.
Emily Taylor (BSN ’26) is a nurse in inpatient oncology with Parkview Health.
