Bio

Sheena Shultz earned her Associate of Applied Science in Respiratory Therapy in 2005 from Ivy Tech Community College, a Bachelor of Science in 2007 from Trine University, and is currently a master’s student at the University of Saint Francis in Organized Leadership with a health care focus. She earned her RRT through the National Board of Respiratory Care and has been practicing as a respiratory therapist in the Fort Wayne area since 2005. Sheena has practiced in a variety of clinical settings including a level III NICU, level II adult & pediatric trauma center, and outpatient services. She has been teaching respiratory care education since 2008 serving in different roles such as Respiratory Department Clinical Coordinator and Clinical Instructor for a Respiratory Therapy program. Sheena has worked in leadership for numerous years which has allowed her the experience to guide and mentor new graduates as they enter their new respiratory therapy career.  She is passionate about educating with evidence based best practice in the field of respiratory care and advancements in online learning. She lives in Fort Wayne with her husband and their two boys.
