Rachel Gilson, RN

Bio

Professor Rachel Gilson has worked at the University of St. Francis since Fall 2015. Prior to teaching for the university, Professor Gilson worked at The Birthplace at Lutheran Hospital for 7 years. She is experienced in labor & delivery as well as maternal/newborn nursing. Professor Gilson holds a Master’s degree in Nursing Leadership, a post-graduate Family Nurse Practitioner certificate, as well as specialty certifications in inpatient obstetrics and obstetric and neonatal quality and safety.  Her nurse practitioner clinical practice is in allergy and immunology.
