Michelle Hileman
Bio
Professor Hileman is an advanced practice nurse with over 25 years of professional experience in nursing, midwifery, obstetrics, and gynecology. Throughout her clinical career, she was honored to provide holistic and family-centered care while “catching” nearly 1,300 babies. She now translates that passion into the classroom, serving as an “academic midwife” who supports and nurtures students along their professional journeys.
Guided by her faith and a deep commitment to the sanctity of family, Professor Hileman is dedicated to empowering the next generation of practitioners to provide compassionate, accessible care that integrates spiritual and physical well-being. She currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Division of Nursing and continues her ministry of service through healthcare volunteerism both locally and internationally.
