Kelly Eckel

Assistant Professor of Education, Director of Undergraduate Field Experiences

Bio

As a previous K-12 educator with a legal background, Professor Eckel specializes in elementary education, data analysis, and developing partnerships to facilitate field experiences for the Division of Education. Educational equity and access opportunity for all students is at the core of her beliefs and passion to improve education on all levels. She believes professional development is crucial to remaining current in educational practices and policies. She is involved in multiple organizations throughout the State of Indiana that focus on systemic improvement actions in K-12 schools and leadership in higher education. She will defend her dissertation in Fall 2023 at National Louis University in Chicago.
