Bio

Holly Jackson has been teaching human anatomy and physiology for over 15 years. Prior to teaching at the University of Saint Francis, she was an instructor at Ivy Tech Community College. While teaching at Ivy Tech Community College, she was the recipient of the Adjunct Award for Excellence in Instruction. Holly has a Master of Science degree in environmental toxicology and previously worked for the Indiana Department of Environmental Management working on contaminants in the waters of Indiana. She was involved in developing new techniques for testing mercury levels in fish and helped with the continued publication of the Indiana fish consumption advisory. While completing her master’s degree, she worked for the American Red Cross Tissue Services and collected human cadaver tissue for transplantation into patients.
