Dr. Samantha Cussen

Bio

Before joining Saint Francis, Dr. Samantha Cussen served as the Assistant Dean of Nursing at Manchester University, having previously taught at Bethel University, Indiana Wesleyan University and Indiana State University.

Her 20+ year nursing career includes a variety of experiences ranging from vascular surgery, to travel nursing, critical care, and hospice and home health. Dr. Cussen is passionate about teaching future nurses how to help others overcome illness and live more fulfilling lives by providing quality, evidence-based care.

Dr. Cussen holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Higher Education Administration, a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychology, and an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Nursing.
