Bio

The core of my teaching philosophy centers around the overall student experience of my classroom. I strive to inspire. I want students to leave my classroom excited and motivated to want to learn more. I want them to leave the classroom and text their friends something neat they learned; to TikTok/Snap/Gram something I said in the classroom. If I can teach a student to love a topic or a field and to become a self-motivated learner, then I have done my job. I want my students to look back ten years after graduation and know that their trust was well placed.  I want them to be prepared for their careers. I want them to feel challenged to grow in their vocation.

  • Bechill M.B.,  The MAP kinase phosphatase-1 (MKP-1), DUSP1, is a critical negative regulator of Staphylococcus aureus-induced inflammatory cytokine gene expression in macrophages.
