Bio

Darcy has a diverse background spanning the medical and educational realms. Graduating from the University of Saint Francis Surgical Technology Program in 2006, she obtained certification as a Surgical Technologist, accruing invaluable experience in the operating room, specializing in labor and delivery at Dupont Hospital. Her time spent in this environment has enriched her understanding of surgical procedures related to childbirth, further broadening her expertise.

Complementing her medical background, Darcy expanded her academic horizons and earned a Bachelor’s in Education from Western Governors University (WGU) in 2018. Passionate about melding her knowledge in surgical technology and education, she eagerly seeks to integrate these domains to guide and support students throughout their collegiate journey. Darcy’s aim is to fuse her comprehensive expertise in both professions to create an inclusive and impactful learning atmosphere and nurture academic growth.
