Brittany Straub, Ed. D.
Bio
Brittany Straub has teaching experience spanning secondary education, special education and higher education. She currently serves as an associate professor of education at the University of Saint Francis, where she is dedicated to preparing pre-service teachers for successful careers in education. Brittany teaches a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses in both education and special education in the Division of Teacher Education.
In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Brittany serves as the director of special education. Her research focuses on Educator Preparation Programs (EPPs), with particular interest in how the EPP experience of early career special education teachers impacts their potential to experience burnout.
Outside of academia, Brittany enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and being outdoors.
