Bio

As a Physician Assistant, Brian has several years of experience practicing in various psychiatric settings, with particular interest in the field of Consultation-Liaison psychiatry. In 2022 he became a PA Foundation Mental Health Outreach Fellow, with a personal aim to train PA and other healthcare trainees, professionals and educators in Mental Health First Aid. As a PA educator, he combines his advanced degrees in the Humanities and Physician Assistant Studies to teach his students the art as well as the science of medicine. In his role as the PA program’s Director of Assessment and Evaluation, he oversees the collection and analysis of data to provide data-informed perspectives for initiatives to enhance curriculum and promote student success.
