FORT WAYNE, Ind.—The University of Saint Francis will host its annual SF Creative Arts Alumni/Faculty Exhibition in December, including a feature exhibit from alumna Brooke Owens.

The free exhibition, featuring a wide variety of works from SF Creative Arts alumni, along with current and retired faculty, will run from Dec. 6 through Dec. 17 at the Mimi and Ian Rolland Art and Visual Communication Center, 1014 Leesburg Road, on the southeast side of campus.
A reception will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6 in the Rolland Center.

Owens’ feature exhibit will include a selection of mixed media works on canvas and fabric. She is an artist and educator originally from Fort Wayne, currently living and working in the Cincinnati and northern Kentucky area. She is the Registrar at the Art Academy of Cincinnati, teaches community painting and drawing courses for its Office of Engagement and participates in mural projects throughout the warmer months. Owens earned a bachelor’s degree in studio art with minors in art history and museum studies from Saint Francis in 2020, and a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in painting from Miami University (Oxford, Ohio) in 2023.
