She holds a Master of Organizational Leadership degree from Saint Francis and a bachelor’s degree in English from Huntington University.

She served as associate dean of students for Saint Francis from 2019 to 2022 as part of a seven-year period working in student life. She started her career in higher education in residence life at Goshen College.

“During her time as interim vice president, Katie demonstrated an ability to navigate complex challenges, foster collaboration and drive results, and has been instrumental in laying the foundation for future success,” Saint Francis President Dr. Lance Richey said. “She has earned the full confidence and support of her team and her work has already begun to yield positive momentum in our marketing and enrollment efforts.”

“I’m honored to lead marketing and enrollment efforts at the University of Saint Francis at a time of significant challenge and opportunity for our institution,” Dwyer said. “We will continue to build on our strong foundation of delivering values-driven, transformational Catholic education and advance the bold, future-focused goals of Renew 2028 under Dr. Richey’s leadership.”
