FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The University of Saint Francis invites elementary school through high school soccer players to take part in USF’s first Hispanic Heritage Month Youth Soccer Workshop.
The free workshop will run from 5 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 3 at Bishop D’Arcy Stadium. No preregistration is required.
All participants will have a chance to work on their skills with the guidance of USF men’s soccer team players and coaches.
“Our players are excited to work with young soccer players as part of Hispanic Heritage Month,” USF Men’s Soccer Coach Jake Essig said. “It will be great to share our knowledge and love of the game through this free workshop. We plan to make it an annual event.”
The workshop will follow recommended COVID-19 guidelines for outdoor events. The workshop is part of a series of Hispanic Heritage Month events at USF and is presented by the USF Men’s Soccer program and the USF Multicultural Center.
