The University of Saint Francis will present “While the Lights Were Out,” a comedic murder mystery written by Jack Sharkey, as its spring production.
Cast in a thunderstorm, the lights go out, an agonized voice cries, a pistol is shot…then the lights come up! The audience will be left with surprise, laughter and delight as the plot twists and turns with this hilarious evening of mayhem. The USF School of Creative Arts production will be directed by Brad Beauchamp.
Five performances will be presented March 19 through March 22 at the USF Robert Goldstine Performing Arts Center, 431 W. Berry Street.
Show times are:
• Thursday, March 19 – 7:30 p.m.
• Friday, March 20 – 7:30 p.m.
• Saturday, March 21 – 2 p.m.
• Saturday, March 21 – 7:30 p.m.
• Sunday, March 22 – 2 p.m.
Tickets will be available closer to performance date through the ArtsTix Community Box Office at 260-422-4226 or tickets.artstix.org. Doors will open 30 minutes before the show for general seating. Ticket prices are $12 for adults and $10 for seniors 65 years or older and children under 18. Group rates of $10 per person are available to groups of 20 or more. USF students, faculty and staff with a USF ID card can receive one free ticket for the play.
