FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The University of Saint Francis and Ivy Tech Community College have approved a transfer agreement which allows Associate of Science Education students from Ivy Tech to transfer into the Bachelor of Science program in Elementary Education at USF.
Ivy Tech students with Associate of Science degrees in Education may complete a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education at USF under a two-year agreement between the institutions.
Ivy Tech graduates from any campus may transfer and apply credit hours from their completed associate degree to the requirements for USF’s Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Elementary Education.
“The University of Saint Francis was founded as a teachers college and for 130 years has put the training of classroom teachers at the heart of its mission,” said Dr. Lance Richey, Vice President for Academic Affairs. “We are excited that this new agreement with Ivy Tech will allow us to expand that mission even further and help prepare yet another generation of educators for Indiana and the nation.”
