The University of Saint Francis welcomes applications for the position of Senior Camp Counselor! 

The University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, Indiana invites inquiries, nominations, and applications for the position of Senior Camp Counselor. Saint Francis is a Catholic, Franciscan university in the liberal arts tradition. The Senior Camp Counselor will report to the Director of Youth Programming and will ensure the university’s Catholic identity, Franciscan charism, and commitment to the liberal arts remain at the center of our educational mission and public identity. The Senior Camp Counselor is responsible for assisting the Director of Youth Programming in advancing the university’s efforts in implementing the new mission statement and strategic plan. The successful candidate will mentor and lead campers as well as supervise Junior Camp Counselors. Additionally, a SCC assists the DYP and faculty facilitators with ideas and suggestions for program development and improvement. SCC will be responsible for helping to plan and execute camp lessons. All counselors are expected to exercise good judgment, independence, and initiative in conducting day-to-day operations.

The cover letter should directly address the responsibilities of the position with special emphasis placed upon the candidate’s qualifications and experience as well as how the applicant will seek to advance the Catholic, Franciscan Mission of the University.
