The University of Saint Francis is excited to announce the search for our next Residence Hall Director.

The University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, Indiana invites inquiries, nominations, and applications for the position of Residence Hall Director. Saint Francis is a Catholic, Franciscan university in the liberal arts tradition. The Residence Hall Director will report to Director of Residential Life and Assistant Dean of Students and will have responsibility over the areas of Padua Hall and Trinity Hall as well as ensuring the university’s Catholic identity, Franciscan charism, and commitment to the liberal arts remain at the center of our educational mission and public identity. The Resident Hall Director is responsible for assisting the Director of Residential Life and Assistant Dean of Students in advancing the university’s efforts in implementing the new mission statement and strategic plan. The successful candidate will promote and maintain a positive residence hall living-learning environment consistent with the mission and emphasizing the importance of integrity, compassion, humility, community engagement, personal and spiritual development, and academic success while helping develop a Catholic culture in the residence halls that is faith-filled, safe, and welcoming, while fostering a dynamic community in which the formation of the whole person is promoted and achieved.

The cover letter should directly address the responsibilities of the position with special emphasis placed upon the candidate’s qualifications and experience as well as how the applicant will seek to advance the Catholic, Franciscan Mission of the University.
