Alumni Benefits
Saint Francis Alumni
Association
There are no annual fees to be a member of the Alumni Association; we only ask that you take the “Back to the Future” approach. Look back to the education, values, and friendships that characterized your time at Saint Francis, and contribute in whatever way you choose to ensure that future generations of students will have just as valuable an experience.
Career Support
All Saint Francis alumni are welcome to take advantage of the benefits offered by the Academic and Career Development Center. The Center provides direction and assistance for those changing careers, moving up from their present positions, searching for jobs, or considering graduate school. We provide resume critiques, interview coaching, job search resources and referrals, as well as other resources.
Find Jobs with Handshake
Saint Francis uses Handshake, a software system that connects job seekers with employers. The site not only helps alumni find available jobs, but also helps them network with local companies and other professionals.
Student and alumni job seekers can now find more than 250,000 employers, including all of the Fortune 500 companies. For more information and to create an account, contact the Academic and Career Development Center at 260-399-8065 or acdc@sf.edu.
Other career opportunities can be found by joining the Saint Francis Alumni Association LinkedIn group, where job positions, helpful career-building articles, and networking tips are posted.
Lee and Jim Vann Library
As an alumnus, you have borrowing privileges from the Lee and Jim Vann Library. To obtain a free alumni library card, stop in at the library (located in the Pope John Paul II Center) and fill out an application.

Brookside Tours
The University of Saint Francis offers tours of historic Brookside, formerly known as the Bass Mansion.
Guided tours are one hour, and elevator access is available. Brookside is a working building on campus, housing 12 offices. Tours cost $10 per person (free to USF alumni, faculty, staff, and students from Jan. – Oct.) and are available by advance reservation only. Requests must be made at least a week in advance. Groups of 10 or fewer can be accommodated on each tour.
There are no tours during the month of November to accommodate preparations for Christmas in the Castle. During December, there are no private tours of Brookside. The only tours available are unescorted tours during Saint Francis’ Christmas in the Castle celebration.
