SOHS Simulation Workshop: Building Bridges - From Simulation to Practice
An interprofessional workshop for healthcare educators with an interest in simulation will take place on May 13, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. in Doermer 063. The featured speaker will be Tonya Rutherford-Hemming, RN, EdD, ANP-BC, the Senior Nurse Researcher at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. Workshop attendees will discuss the implications of the transfer of learning from simulation to practice; incorporate the Guidelines of the Standards of Best Practice and evaluate facilitation methods demonstrated during a simulation.
