The Bachelor of Science in Accounting will prepare you to launch new businesses or lead existing companies in the global marketplace. You will build a deeper understanding of how accounting, finance, and business processes impact a company's bottom line.
Accounting is a rapidly growing field. According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, Accounting job opportunities are expected to grow by 22% by 2018. Also a 2011 survey completed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants states that close to 90% of firms plan to hire accounting graduates and 71% of the largest firms plan to hire more accountants.
