Music & Dance
The School of Creative Arts offers students and the community special music and dance performances and workshops through out the year. Developed in collaboration with an academic department on campus or a community group, these performances generally take place in the University's spacious North Campus Auditorium.

Battle of the Streets – March 3rd at 6:00 p.m.
USF Performing Arts Center at the former Scottish Rite Center
Local bands will tune up for a noteworthy annual skirmish, the Battle of the Streets, on March 3 at 6 p.m. in the new USF Performing Arts Center in downtown Fort Wayne. (usfpac.com) The USF Music Technology Department will host the competition in association with radio station WILD 96.3 FM in the center at 431 W. Berry St. Battle of the Streets is a live, local music battle in which artists from the greater Fort Wayne area pit their music talents against each other until only one remains standing. Record label executives from across the country judge the musicians, and the winner(s) receive cash and prizes and a chance to perform before a national producer for a chance to live their dreams.
Admission is $5 for the general public - free admission to USF Students, Faculty and Staff with USF ID. Solo or group artists can sign up for the battle for a half-price fee of $50 by calling the radio station to register at (260) 747-1511 by Feb. 27. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Jazz Ensemble Spring Concert

The University of Saint Francis Jazz Ensemble will perform a spring concert on Friday, April 13 at 7:30 p.m. at the North Campus Auditorium, 2702 Spring Street. Upbeat music and many surprises are planned for this performance. The Jazz Ensemble is under the direction of Bob Mayer, USF Director of Bands. The concert is free and open to the public.
